Australian Teachers of Media (ATOM), through its publications arm (Metro Magazine and Australian Screen Education) produce study guides and educational kits for feature films, documentaries, television programmes and exhibitions.

Over the last ten years, Metro Magazine has produced guides for Disney, Roadshow, 20th Century Fox, Columbia Tristar, UIP, Hoyts, Becker/REP, Ronin Films, Newvision, ABC, Australian Film Commission, Yorum Gross, and many others.

The study guides are written for teachers and students in primary and secondary schools. Metro Magazine has a team of curriculum experts from all areas who view the programmes and recommend what years and subject areas are appropriate for particular programmes.
